Fishing this winter has either been a hit or miss with yesterday appearing to be a hit! I had several different reports of fish being caught in the Guerneville area as well as the Healdsburg drift. The flows at Hacienda are 500 cfs with 4+ feet of viz. This is ideal conditions for holding fish so quiet presentations will be key like swinging flies, bobbers with bait, beads or jigs, or bottom bouncing. Flows are dropping roughly 20 cfs a day so with no rain in the forecast it looks to be about 10 days before we reach the 300 cfs thresh hold.
