Captain Bill Cavanaugh of the Intrepid out of Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, CA called in to us today.

It is Friday midday. We are wrapping a 15 Day trip, we get in on Sunday morning. We have had spotty Wifi this trip. We ended up having a really good trip. We spent our entire trip at the Hurricane Bank. We had good shots at bigger fish every day of the trip. Probably the best sign of fish in a number of years. We fished with 23 people and ended up with 225 Yellowfin Tuna with tags on them. Most of the fish are 50-80 pounds. We have 58 fish over 100 a lot are 130-160, 2 or 3 cows biggest tapped out a 234. We have a number of fish 150-180 pound range. Overall we had a great trip. The kite was working really good. Everyone got 3 kite fish for the trip. The guys who worked hard it was easy to get limits. We even got 30 Wahoo on the way. We have a bunch of regulars on board for a memorial trip for Dan. Good opportunity on the way. Everyone is pumped and we have a lot of fish on board.
