Happy New Year & Extended Half Day Trip!

  • The New Seaforth had a great day of rockfishing in Mexican waters on the first Extended 1/2 day trip of this year. 29 anglers went home with 260 Assorted Rockfish. Captain Brian reports today's trip had excellent quality Rockfish between 2-5 Pounds! These trips will depart at 7:30 AM and return at 2:30 PM. Tackle rentals outfitted with braid fishing line and a matched rod capable of fishing deeper spots will be available for rent. Recommended tackle: 8-16oz sinkers, dropper loop or heavy jig rig and cut squid for bait. The ticket price includes a Mexican Travel Visa & Mexican Fishing Permit. A valid Passport or Passport Card is required for all passengers. Reservations are highly recommended!

    The Polaris Supreme returned from their 5 Day trip with 21 Bluefin Tuna weighing between 90 and 220lbs! They had some Yellowtail and assorted Rockcod to round out their count. The weather made for some challenging Bluefin conditions, but on the days they were able to fish them there was steady action.     From what we can see the weather is looking much better tomorrow. We're keeping an eye on the conditions for both trips but we are hopeful that we will be able to get back to fishing tomorrow. We will do our best to keep everyone updated. 2022 is only a few days away which means the rockfishing closure for us on the U.S. side of the border, but we will be running Extended Half Day trips down to Mexican waters......
