Fish Report for 12-24-2021
The trout fishing remains decent
12-24-2021
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
The trout fishing remains decent after the last stock two weeks ago by the DFWL. Fish have been coming on a variety of offerings. Anglers have done best with mice tails, garlic scented Power Bait, pinched crawlers, and spinners. The Bass action has been fair to good with finesse presentations. Bass have come on jigs and drop-shotted soft plastics. The Annual Bakersfield Firefighters Fishing Derby & Pancake Breakfast is scheduled for February 5, 2022. Both lakes will be stocked with tagged Lightening and Rainbow trout worth up to $1000. Tickets are now available at Cope’s Tackle & Rod.
