Hi Gang,
After a couple of days at Alijos Rocks, we fished for tuna on the Ridge. The morning was a little slow with only a few tuna. After a couple of anchor jobs, we had fish get on us and we had steady action on quality yellowfin for the rest of the day. Most of our fish were in the 18 to 35 pound range and the guys fishing the 30 pound fluorocarbon with a #2 hook had the most success. When the day was over, we had our daily limits of tuna. Everyone was stoked. Yesterday was spent working up the coast fishing yellowtail. Pretty poor conditions everywhere we looked and we didn't catch much. The fish we did catch were nice ones and John Kabay landed one yellowtail that should be around 40 pounds. Our weather has been nice and everyone is having a great time. Last nights seafood buffet was spectacular thanks to our celebrity chef Brian Torres. We are catch and release fishing calico bass this morning before we call it a trip. Thanks for checking in. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4088 to get in on the action.
