Well, we have a little wind, but our anglers are making the best of it. We are fortunate to have a warm spell to go along with the outings that have been producing some great catches. Our local angler Gerry Ward is back with a limit of rainbow trout from the rotary park area. While fishing from shore using a trout jig in a green color Gerry was able to land his limit. The rainbow trout stocking sites are community park Davis camp and Rotary Park. 

We are getting our trout from the Willow Beach Hatchery a federal hatchery at the bottom of the Hoover dam. The race ways where the trout are raised by this super staff is fed by the cold and clear Colorado river. These are some great trout for us to catch with night crawlers and power bait producing limits along with various spinners. The spinners I like for example panther martin, blue fox, Thomas buoyant, jakes spin a lure to just name a few that are working here along our shores. We are also getting some great striper action and community park area has been a hot spot. Anglers have been reporting that various glide baits have been producing some of our larger fish in the 6-to-15-pound range. 

I have some lake news from our local angler Jennifer Gonzales landed a nice 9.22-pound striper at 29 and 7/8 inches. Lake Mohave has been having some striper action by the power lines and near the dam. There have been a few sightings of fish boils so watch for ripples and or birds flocking to the boils to feed on the shad. Hope this helps some for now and we look forward to seeing you in soon.
