Fish Report for 11-19-2021
Good numbers of spotted bass and some lunker largemouth
11-19-2021
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Kaweah Lake remained near 13 percent of capacity, and bass fishing was good last week. Anglers reported good numbers of spotted bass and some lunker largemouth. The best action came for anglers using jigs with Chigger Craw trailers, finesse plastics, crankbaits, and topwater lures. The topwater and crankbaits seemed to produce well in the mornings, and drop shot, split shot rigs, and Carolina rigs all produced on points. The better-quality bass came in deeper water on jigs. Catfish have been eating cut baits, garlic nightcrawlers, dip bait, and chicken liver. Some quality crappie were reported by anglers using live minnows, but no one would share where they located the slabs.
