At The Loop

Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone; We arrived to the loop in the early morning hours. We were lucky to make a tank of bait. The bite started once the sun came up, it was slow, but steady. We sat on the anchor all day picking away at 50 to 110 pound Yellowfin tuna.
It is so much fun when the taxman is not around, and we had no taxes to pay today. We caught fish on the chunk, flyline sardine, mackerel, but nothing on the kite. We tried the kite for a few hours, and not even a bite. Some tried the dropper-loop for Yellowtail, but no luck on the bottom for us today. Weather today was clear skies, 10 to 15 knots of breeze, sunny and warm.
We are anchored up for the night, and we will try to make another tank of bait, then see what the Island has for us tomorrow. So until then wish us luck, and enjoy the photos. Team R/p.
