- Update 2:30PM The Tribute just checked back in with 100 Yellowfin for their 1.5 Day trip. The next available spots on the Tribute are for a 1.5 day trip departing Tuesday night 10/19 .

10-18-2021Monday Updates Although the Bluefin bite has slowed down as of late we're still seeing good numbers of both Yellowfin and Yellowtail for our Full Day and longer boats. The Tribute called in around 2:30 this afternoon with an update from their 1.5 Day. They currently have 100 Yellowfin on the boat for their 33 anglers! Sunday Report The Voyager ended their 2 Day trip with 84 Yellowfin, 36 Yellowtail, 7 Skipjack and 1 Dorado for 13 anglers. A 25 pound setup, #1 or #2 hook and matching fluorocarbon leader is working best on this grade of fish. Some anglers are having luck casting Colt Snipers (42g) or Megabait style jigs to hook some of these fish. The San Diego ended their Full Day trip with 40 Yellowtail and 3 Bluefin for 32 anglers.
