Not as much smoke is affecting the middle Klamath river region. The McCash fire continues to burn south and west of Happy Camp. While the forests have been opened up, the McCash Fire closure order begins just west of Seiad Valley and extends all the way west to just east of Weitchpec. Keep an eye out for highway closures if you are headed to Klamath Glen on the coast or up on the top end.
Fish should be arriving in force in the mid Klamath and up top to Iron Gate soon.
