Klamath River Fishing Report
9-14-2021
The Fly Shop
Fires in and around the Trinity Alps continue to bring a lot of smoke in the mid to upper river sections. The McCash fire continues to burn south and west of Happy Camp. While the forests have been opened up, the McCash Fire closure order begins just west of Seiad Valley and extends all the way west to just east of Weitchpec. Keep an eye out for highway closures if you are headed to Klamath Glen on the coast or up on the top end.
We have had solid reports of fish below Weitchpec. It is only a matter of time before they make their way up above into the middle river.
