Tuesday Recap - Bluefin and Dorado

Wednesday Reports
- 1:30 PM The Tribute just called in from their Overnight trip with 20 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Yellowtail for their 33 anglers. The Bluefin weighed between 30 to 40 pounds and Captain Buzz mentioned that flyline baits on 25 to 30 pound test was the best method for the day.
Tuesday Reports
- The Aztec wrapped up their 2 Day charter with 77 Bluefin and 44 Yellowtail for their 20 anglers. Most of their fish were in the 30 to 50 pounds range.
- The San Diego wrapped up their Full Day with 39 Dorado and 1 Yellowtail for their 27 anglers. Captain Ryan reported conditions were looking very good both fishing and weather wise.
- The Tribute returned from their 1.5 Day this morning with 61 Bluefin Tuna up to 80lbs! Captain Mike stated that flyline sardines was the best method for the day.
- The Endeavor finished up their 1.75 Day charter with 31 Bluefin, 1 Yellowfin and a mix of groundfish to go with for their 31 anglers.
- We're seeing very encouraging signs with this improvement in the fishing conditions. We still have openings for some Overnight and 1.5 Day trips aboard the Pacifica and the Tribute next week.

Monday Updates The Apollo wrapped up their 2 Day charter with 39 Bluefin and 7 Yellowtail for their 10 anglers. 2 of their fish weighed over 100 pounds and 6 weighed over 200 pounds! If you're going to be headed out on a 1.5 Day or longer trip please make sure you are bringing some heavier tackle and it would also be wise to have an assortment of Shimano Flatfalls or Daiwa SK jigs in varying sizes to go with. ......
