This afternoon the Shogun is headed for home in bouncy seas. Yellowfin tuna in the 12-22# class bit very well for us today, all morning we had great action. Sonar marks and blind strikes stopped the boat, and kelps also produced a great mixed bag with yellowtail and dorado among the tuna. There are still schools of bluefin out this way but we couldn\\\'t get the shortfin tuna to bite today. Our prior 1 1/2 day trip didn\\\'t have the yellowfin frenzy but we did come across bluefin in the afternoon close to 50 pounds. The Shogun will be back fishing offshore tomorrow on another 1 1/2 day trip. One more after that and then its back to the longer summer trips.
