Bass fishing was fair at Hart Park last week, and anglers reported many of the better catches while fishing at night. Topwater buzzbaits and Whopper Ploppers fooled a better grade of bass while jigs and Senkos seemed to get better numbers of smaller grade bass. The bass have been holding in the weed beds, and some anglers reported fish in the tributaries and smaller water at Hart Park. Catfish have been biting cut baits, chicken liver, and dip bait after dark, and bluegill have been readily available for anglers fishing any live worm near the weed beds.
