We had an excellent day on beautiful grade Yellowfin. The morning was a slow pick at 12 to 20# fish the afternoon did not dissapoint. Around two in the afternoon the light switch turned on and we got to work. We had a school of 18 to 30# Yellowfin get on us and it was game on. 30 and 40# test and a 1/0 hook was the key to getting a bite. At one point they were eating every bait that hit the water. We were also fortunate enough to land a 60# class Bigeye Tuna, a very special catch that we have not seen in a very long time. We also had some Wahoo swim through and we were able to pick of a few for our efforts. With flat calm weather we are going to give this another try and hope for similar resuts. Last night Chef Brian prepared his Rack of Lamb dinner and it was amazing. We will check in later.
