We departed on our Bart Ryder Private Charter 5 day with a good load of bait and we made our way out to the fishing grounds. We started our day yesterday short stopping on small schools for not many fish but around lunch time we got on the right one. It was an impressive school and as soon as we stopped the boat we got busy. We had a few hours of wide open Bluefin and a few Yellowfin before it died off. 40# test and a small hook was the key to getting a bite. Our Bluefin were all 30 to 70#s and our Yellowfin were 25 to 35#s. Once it got dark we started flat fall fishing and we landed on a school that bit really well for us. All of the different styles of Flat Falls worked.We are starting our morning off on a good school right now and we are picking away at more 30 to 50# Bluefin. We will check in later.
