After my month vacation on Odell Lake, I'm happy to be back on my home Lake of Detroit. My fishing partner Jeff joined me today to do a little scouting and we had some dandies in the boat. The air was a little smoky from the fires in the south, but we found some nice koks today. Thank you Jeff for going out today. The KokaneeKid mysis new lure was exceptionally hot today. I had great success on Odell with this lure as well. I set it up with a Arrow Flash blue-moon glow dodger. My speed was 1.3 mph most of the day and hit the fish b/t 55-72 feet.
