Lake Sabrina Boat Landing Staff
We're fine - Thank you for all your e-mails and calls of concern and your prayers - it all worked! The firefighters did an awesome job! The fire started in the Buttermilks which is north-west of Lake Sabrina. As the Forestry puts it - There was just a bit of 'slosh-over' into the Bishop Creek Canyon above the Big Trees campground where the fire came over the ridge west of the road, jumped the road headed down the slope toward the campground, but the crews stopped it in it's tracks. By Tuesday evening, Hwy 168 was re-opened.
