Holiday weekend got us like!

 

On Friday the New Buccaneer made the regular 12 hour deep sea trip and Capt Matt had the usual good results. Capt Sam on the Cavalier made the first 8 hour trip this red snapper season and also did well. The New Buccaneer 12 hour trip returned with 190 red snapper, 197 vermilion snapper, 1 scamp grouper, 1 rock hind grouper, and 3 lane snapper. The Cavalier 8 hour trip returned with 141 red snapper, 4 king mackerel, and 3 vermilion snapper.

 

One Saturday, the New Buccaneer made the 12 hour offshore trip today and again deep sea fishing was great - 188 red snapper, 62 vermilion snapper, and 2 sharpnose shark.

 

On Independence Day, the Cavalier under Captain Sam Hardeman ran an 8 hour trip and the New Buccaneer piloted by Captain Matt Smith did the 12 hour trip. The Cavalier 8 hour returned with 146 red snapper and 2 vermilion snapper. The New Buccaneer 12 hour returned with 182 red snapper, 13 vermillion snapper, 1 dorado and 8 sharpnose sharks.
