Captain Bill Cavanaugh of the Intrepid out of Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, CA called in to us today.

It’s Saturday morning and we are checking in. We spent the last couple of days working up the coast to fish Bluefin Tuna. We are at the grounds this morning. 2 days ago we fished for Calico Bass on the coast, and had decent fishing. That night into yesterday we had some bad weather.

We saw a decent sign of Bluefin yesterday afternoon, didn’t have a good response though. We picked up 2 last night over 100 pounds. We have not caught a fish yet here this morning but we have high hopes. We will be here all day.

This will be the last fishing day of this 7 Day trip, we have nice weather here now.
