South Lake Fishing Report

Parchers Resort Gang
No change in the lake level this week, in fact it might have actually come down a few inches. We're anxious to see if the storage forecast turns out to be accurate or not, only time will tell. It's always a guess with so many variables involved, but our fingers are crossed we can still get the docks out within the next couple weeks.
Fishing has been ok for some, slow for others. There are certainly holdovers lurking in the depths, but the lake hasn't been stocked yet. Worth a look for those willing to walk down to the water for sure.
We are still several weeks away from private boaters having a chance to launch. At this point we're a little bullish on whether that will happen at all.
Hot Spots: Boiler Cove. Inlet
Hot Lures: Thomas Buoyants, Minijigs, Kastmasters
Best Flies: Bead-Head Nymphs, large black ants.
Best Baits: Gulp Pinched Crawlers.
Trolling: No boats yet.
