Our focus narrowed on the biggest fish available we plugged away at abundant spots of 90-150 pound bluefin with varying degrees of success. Most of the spots were eager to settle in but reluctant to bite. Those occasional few that did accept the challenge were rewarded a ride to San Diego chilled to perfection. That said I will admit that a disproportional number had their way with us expertly spitting and shaking hooks to the tune of about one for two. Bluefin at their finest.
