Nevada Department of Wildlife

In this week's Nevada Wild, NDOW's Ashley Sanchez, Aaron Keller and Bobby Jones sit down with Trout Unlimited (TU) biologist Jason Barnes to talk about the conservation work TU does, his role as a biologist, his passion for Nevada's native Lahontan Cutthroat Trout, and how he's dedicated his life to protecting the species.

We also recommend checking out NDOW's Instagram page, @nevadawildlife, to view Jason's Instagram takeover, where he shares the story of how he became a biologist, and a lot of other great adventures!

Nevada Wild is available for download on SoundCloud and iTunes. It also airs at 6:30 a.m. Sunday mornings on 99.1 FM, KSVL 92.3 FM Talk, and live online.
