Captain Bill Cavanaugh called in this morning at 5:28 AM with an audio update from the Intrepid out of Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, CA.  We departed yesterday AM on a 3 day trip.  We found the fish and caught a few before dark.  Then at 1 AM we fired up the boat.  We found a school around 3 AM and had a fantastic nite bite.  They were biting the flat falls on 100# really well.  Once you got down to 100 feet you were bit.  Most of the fish were a real nice grade of 40 to 60 pounds.
