RB Bass
Delta Fishing Report brought to you bye the Hook Line and Sinker in Oakley Ca
The Striper bite has been decent. Anglers are having good results trolling Yo Zuri broken backs tipped with white, pink or fluorescent green trick worms. Target that 5 to 15 ft depth range for best results. Trolling has been producing fish in the 12 to 15 pound range. Drifting you cut baits and live baits also producing fish but trolling has caught the better quality fish.
Right now the delta has bass in all 3 stages of the spawn. Reaction baits, punching and throwing soft plastics are catching fish. On the days that aren’t windy targeting those spawners can get you some quality fish. Frogs and poppers are also catching fish. Its been hit and miss. Some days fishing is good some days fishing is slow. Be sure to stop in to Hook, Line & Sinker at 3100 main st #260 Oakley Ca and stock up on some tackle before you hit the delta. Good luck and tight lines.
