Lake Hogan Fish Report
5-30-2009

Striper action remains steady but the fish are scattered. Most of our catches has been males in the 5 to 6 pound class. Were finding good results near shorelines 10 to 20 foot water in the main lake area. Were using shad pattern lures, as well as anchovies or shad laced with Pro Cures anchovie gel. Were still not seeing any boils but water temperature continues to rise, as of Friday it was 78.9 degrees.

Don Pedro ReservoirKing salmon, rainbow trout and Kokanee salmon can be taken in the Fleming Bay area and Middle Bay. The bows are hitting rolling shad and a variety of shad pattern lures such as Vance's Slim Fins and Ex-Cels. The trout are averaging 15 to 18 inches with occasional fish in the 3 pound range.
