Low and Clear

4-8-2021
OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff

The Kilchis is very low and clear, which will make fishing challenging, but there are still wild steelhead throughout the basin (catch-and-release only for wilds). There is a fair amount of spawning activity taking place this time of year, and anglers are encouraged to avoid spawning fish and redds (spawning nest).
