Fish Report for 4-6-2021
Striper season starts now!
4-6-2021
Jeff Goodwin
Captain Jeff Brady checked in today from the Colusa area and reports there are Stripers being caught daily! The river is unseasonably low this year and Striper numbers in the river are down, but theres still fish to be caught. Captain Brady is trolling with live minnows and reporst they are working best for him in the early part of the day. Flows from Keswick Dam are slowly ramping up in the Redding area and we're seeing 4,500 cfs releases currently. We'll need to see a bump in flows before the Stripers push upstream in big numbers this year. The Striper season for us will last until the second week of May if current conditions persist. All of our Striper trips are sold out for the season, but we'll be sure to keep reporting on this fishery as the season progresses! Thanks to all who booked with us this year, we truly appreciate your support!
