Pyramid Lake Fishing Report
2-15-2021
Pyramid Lake Staff
Along the shorelines over the past week, people have been catching stripers, trout, and catfish on different worms and cut baits, mainly sardines, anchovies, mackerel and chicken liver. Lugworms and nightcrawlers have been working well for the stripers along the canal by the entrance booth and off the points past the swim beach in deeper water. Most people have been using heavier weights to endure the winds and currents, allowing them to fish deeper and also catch catfish throughout the day off the bottom. Trout and bass have also been caught using nightcrawlers drop shot style along the rip rap infront of the bait shop and throughout the marina and coves around the lake. Most bass have been caught off soft plastic baits like roboworms, craw style baits and senkos using slower presentations to get a bite with the colder conditions.
