The ice is receding as the weather starts to get slightly warmer. The edges of the ice are becoming soft, unstable and there is now open water around most edges.

 

Please do not venture out onto the ice, unless you absolutely need to.

Open water is getting greater as well. We have had a few boats launch from Jet Ski Beach and Coyote Cove. The East Boat Ramp area is still iced over.

 

Most people have been shore fishing with luck of trout at both Jet Ski Beach and Coyote Cove.
