Far from a boom and far from a bust we pieced together a day that featured plenty of stopping on non biting bluefin and a few shots at kelp grade yellowtail that were abundant and eager. Boating one bluefin to prove that the electronics weren’t malfunctioning we worked south all day in old school search mode. Beautiful weather was the perfect compliment. Covering the water effectively the southward trek continued at dark. Satisfied that the sign we left behind was not going to get the job done a relocation was the clear call.
