Trinity River report by Brian Kohlman: I had a really fun time with my regular guests Chip and Matt from Red Bluff. The recent rains provided a much-needed flow bump, but the water is still gin clear. The fishing remains tough, but good. Chip struck chrome first with a bright hatchery “tweener” and then a feisty half-pounder a few minutes later. Matt hooked into a small adult that fought well above its weight class and helped cap off a great day! We have rain forecast for Tuesday, so hopefully that will add some color – and some more fish!
