We still had our lines icing up when we were done!! Water temp was showing 35-36F. My sister MJ & I kayaking. Fishing remains fantastic. Boats are still launching. 2 more days left if we don’t ice over!!

Pretty Much A Solid Bite on Eagle Lake Right Now

Eagle is fishing pretty good. Still a lot of particulate algae’s in the water column in the south basin. Water temps in the mid to high 50’s. Trout moving around but staying high in the water column for us. Orange (red dog, red-prism needlefish, rainbow runners), rainbow trout (rapalas & flicker shad), black, red/gold. Also hot orange,olive, peacock, & cinnamon leech trolling flies. Pretty much a solid bite. The algae can throw them off. Look for cleaner water & find...... Read More
