December 22, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. The Dolphin AM trip ahd 45 rockfish, 4 sculpin, and 4 sheephead.

12/23/2020

The Dolphin Am trip caught 23 Rockfish, 8 Calico Bass (28 Released), 7 Sheephead, 2 Sculpin and 1 Lingcod for 12 Anglers.

The Dolphin Pm trip caught 38 Rockfish, 14 Sculpin, 10 Calico Bass (26 Released) and 3 Sand Bass for 25 Anglers.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 14 Sheep Head, 6 Calico Bass, 2 Sand Bass, 5 Sculpin, and 37 Rockfish for 13 anglers.

The Dolphin PM trip caught 18 Rockfish, 7 Sheep Head, 2 Sculpin, and 4 Calico Bass for 12 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen returned with 150 Rockfish and 4 Yellowtail for 23 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

• Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently
