Big bows on Shasta Lake!

Trout fishing on Shasta Lake is off to a good start and although the north state is currently seeing some very dry conditions, its actually making for some great conditions on Shasta Lake.  Unlike some of our other venues, Shasta Lake fishing really isn't affected by dry spells.  Mild afternoon temperatures have made for some very comfortable days on the boats and until the storms start rolling in, we'll continue to experience some more of the same.  Weter temps are ranging from 58 dgreees to 55 degrees up higher in the arms which is making for some good top layer trout fishing action.  We're trolling in the top 20' of the lake and we're getting into some really nice rainbows and a few browns most trips.  We're running a few trips on Shasta now, but most of our availability begins in January after salmon season on the river comes to a close.  Stay tund for more reports on Shasta Lake in the coming weeks!  Its going to be a great winter trout season!  Thank you!
