Excellent Bass Fishing This Weekend

Saturday, November 21st was an excellent day for bass fishing at Otay! Top water in the morning and drop shot in the afternoon. Flukes and swimbait and senkos. However, Sunday was tough. The bluegill and catfish bite is still good. Otay concessions now has twice the rental boats, a beautiful Pontoon, row baits and kayaks for rent. .

Lower Otay ReservoirGreetings from Otay Lakes. The weather has changed and winter has arrived. We had a nice rain storm over the weekend which if you can bare the cold makes for good fishing. The bass bite remains decent with plastic robo worms with a drop shot below. Deeper water near the dam has been the best place to fish.
