Captain Bill Cavanaugh of the Intrepid out of Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, CA called in to us today.

Checking in with a mid-afternoon report. We have had a pretty good fishing here all day. We got on a smaller size school of Bluefin in the 15-30 pound range, all mixed up. It’s been biting good for a couple of hours. We are at our daily limit of Bluefin for the day. We have 44 on board. We looked at quite a bit of fish here throughout the morning, we didn’t land much but did get one at 150 pounds. We switched gears and found some of this school size fish. We are going to be trying for big ones!
