Today’s Fish Count: 4 Boats and 50 Anglers
322 Rockfish, 245 Whitefish, 35 Blue Perch, 15 Calico Bass, 6 Sheephead, 6 Sand Bass, 3 Lingcod and 1 Halibut.
The local fleet made it back out after being laid up for wind. They nailed the usual bottom suspects and snagged a few Calico keepers too!

10-26-2020Today’s Fish Count: 1 Boat and 24 Anglers 4 Bluefin Tuna, 25 Bonito, 143 Yellowtail, 191 Ocean Whitefish, 9 California Sheephead, 355 Rockfish and 7 Lingcod. The Ranger 85 is returning with a stellar 3-Day fish count! Captain Jake reported a variety of game fish and some quality local bottom fish to top it off. They made the most of their time and ran down south to score some Yellowtail and Bluefin Tuna (80 – 120lbs). Today’s Fish Count: 8 Boats • 127 Anglers 27 Calico Bass, 10 Bonito, 1 White Seabass, 1 Sole, 11 Lingcod, 50 Sheephead, 816 Ocean Whitefish, 772 assorted Rockfish. It seems some boats are fishing a little deeper with each passing day, while others are hanging out in the shallows anticipating a resurgent bass or yellowtail bite.
