Pedro's Pangas Fish Report

4-10-2009
Pete Hills

The winds in San Quintin, which are notoriously famous during the months of March, April and May, kept most of the boats in during the week. But in a phone report this morning, Captain Hector reports the winds finally subsided today. Boats that did get out fished the 240 spot for a lot of large bonita and usual limits of rock cod and ling cod.

Because the winds have died down, I hope for a better fish report next week. There have been good reports from commercial fishermen of a huge yellowtail bite off of San Martin Island. I will be down there all of next week and will be able to confirm the reports received. And hopefully, I will be able to get out there too to throw a fine lines
