Anderson salmon and steelhead time!

10-15-2020
Jeff Goodwin

Its that time of the year again and we're working the Anderson section of the Sacramento River tergeting big King salmon and our annual hatchery steelhead return.  We're catching some great fish with our clients right now and the presence of salmon and steelhead should be consistent throughout the end of the year.  We'll see a lull in the salmon action until our late fall Kings arrive in November, but we have hatchery steelhead and wild rainbow trout to pick up the slack until that time comes.  Its a big fish year and a great time to hook into a 30-40 lb King.  Its not every year we get an abundance of the 4 year old's so this year is special.  Call Jaynie @ (530) 510-2925 for more information about our fall salmon/steelhead combo trips!  We'll be starting Shasta Lake trout and Trinity River steelhead trips very soon as well!!  Thank you!
