UPDATE 5:15PM
The New Seaforth PM trip wrapped up their Half Day with 20 Yellowtail! Captain Brian mentioned that half of the fish were caught with a dropper loop and 2/0-3/0 hooks, while the other half were caught with Yo-Yo irons in a 6x Jr size!
TRIP UPDATE
The Sea Watch is now online for a PM 1/2 Day fishing Thursday October 15th! They are a definite run! Make reservations now and take advantage of the hot local Yellowtail bite! Limited to 25 passengers.
The San Diego had a great day today with 135 Yellowfin Tuna, 11 Dorado and 99 Yellowtail on the boat for their 34 Full Day anglers.
The Tribute finished up with 9 Yellowfin Tuna,104 Yellowtail, 7 Dorado and 115 Skipjack on the boat for their 25 Overnight anglers. Flyline baits, colt snipers and small Flatfalls are the go to tackle choices!
The Pacifica reported in with limits of Bluefin Tuna (60) for their 1.5 day trip! The fish are up to 40 lbs and are biting 30 pound test fluorocarbon with size 4 mutu circle hooks.
