Still Plenty of Catfish Being Caught

10-4-2020
Lake Poway Staff

There are still plenty of catfish to be caught at Lake Poway.  Kirk and Tristan Aguon caught their limits, Saturday October 3rd from both the shoreline and on a boat (see photo).  The bass bite has continued to be good these last few weeks.

When renting a boat everyone still must bring a face covering and wear it when required. Show picture ID at dock after renting a boat at concessions. All occupants of a boat must be from the same household.

When you stop by concessions to buy your permit ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information. Nigh fishing is done for this year and fishing on the lake will now stop at sunset.
