Heading west in favor of quality we seek advantage in premier weather and working conditions. While reports aren't burgeoning with optimism the fish are abundant. They just went off the bite. So again arrives the critical decision that will define the trajectory of the voyage. Gambling on change for the better, and putting the epic, flat calm weather to good use, we'll see how the front end decision comes to pass. We have a fantastic foundation to work from. Enjoy today's image of the one and only Louvar that I have seen taken in the San Diego recreational fishing fleet. Free gaffed while floundering in the surface after being wounded by some other denizen of the deep. This fish was relegated to the stew pot with delight!

We are presently traveling up and will be targeting trophies the remainder of the trip. ...... Read More
