Captain Jeff Walker checked in from the Tomahawk out of Fishermans Landing in San Diego CA.

Checking in here on Sunday at 4:30 PM. We are on Day 2 of our 2.5 Day and we had incredible Bluefin fishing yesterday. We have full 2 day limits of Bluefin up to 170 pounds. We just got off one lucky kelp stop here. Just over 250 mixed fish we boated, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado and Yellowtail. We left them biting!

We started the day off with 10 scoops of bait left, and we caught over 250 fish on it. We are out of bait and we’re going out to the big fish grounds and see if we can get some big ones on the kite.

Very good fishing the last couple of days. Back in the morning and back out again tomorrow night. We’ll keep you guys posted.
