Topline hot orange trolling fly 12-35ft of water. Eagle Lake Trout x4 outta 8 tags. Tags on Tui chub but orange was the producer. Water column temp 64.7F on the surface 64.4 on the bottom at 60ft. Visibility about 40”.

Fishing has been great but catching has been tough. Seasonal changes along with the hazy basin, dark water & water temp drops. Mid 60’s to low 60’s...springs at 56F...from 59F. The fall transition generally last around 3 weeks before settling into a pattern again. Fish are scattered as normal for the transition period. Some moved north but very scattered & in small pods. Well I don’t know bout y’all but that south basin was ripping big water early! 59F-60F surface temps off the Youth Camp/Biology Station this morning... bout as far south as we could safely go from spalding & get back.
