September 22, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

The Western Start caught LIMITS of Dorado (12) and LIMITS of Yellowfin Tuna (30) for 6 anglers on an Overnight Trip. 

The Islander called in with 5 Yellowfin Tuna (40-60lb), 9 Bluefin Tuna (30-40lb), 40 Yellowtail, and 13 Dorado for 22 anglers on their 1.5 Day trip. 

The Pacific Dawn called in with 21 Yellowtail, 2 Bluefin Tuna (150lb & 315lb), and 2 Dorado for a 2.5 Day trip. 

Th Pegasus called in with LIMITS (24) of Dorado for 12 anglers on heir 1.5 Day trip. 

The Fortune called in with LIMITS of Dorado (36) and LIMITS of Yellowfin Tuna (90) for 18 anglers on their 1.5 day trip. 

The Excel called in with 9 Bluefin Tuna from 80 to 150 pounds and 11 Yellowfin Tuna from 40 to 70 pounds for their 1.5 day trip with 32 anglers and still fishing.

The Liberty called in with 36 Dorado, 28 Yellowfin Tuna 20 Skipjack, and 14 Yellowtail for their Overnight trip with 18 anglers.

The Dolphin called in with 18 Yellowtail, 1 Dorado and 4 Skipjack Tuna for 24 anglers on their full day trip.

The Tomahawk finished their overnight trip with 93 Yellowfin Tuna, 76 Skipjack, and 36 Dorado for 24 anglers. 

The Outrider called in with 1 Bluefin Tuna, 26 Dorado (up to 20 lbs.), 5 Yellowtail and 1 Yellowfin Tuna (50 lbs.) for 7 anglers. They're fishing out west and have found some better grade dorado.

The Pegasus called in with LIMITS of Dorado (24) for 20 anglers. They are now on the hunt for tuna.

The Condor returned this AM with LIMITS of Dorado (60) and LIMITS of Yellowfin Tuna (150) for 30 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.

The Pacific Queen returned this AM with 71 Bluefin Tuna (30-40#), 3 Bluefin Tuna (120-150#) and 19 Yellowfin Tuna (45-65#) for their 3 Day trip with 24 Anglers.

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
