Captain Rick Russell of the Pacific Islander out of Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, CA checked in with us today. 

We returned this am from our Long Rod only charter. Fishing didn’t pan out the way we wanted it to. We started out in the smaller bluefin area and didn’t see much sign early in the morning so we made a move to the big fish area where we were greeted with a nice school or 80-200# fish.

We hooked a few and managed 2 fish out of that, from there we headed back to the smaller fish area but we were a little late. Yesterday just wasn’t our day!

We go again tonight! Hoping for a different outcome!
