Captain Rick Russell of the Pacific Islander out of Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, CA checked in with us today. 

Fun fishing on our last 2 trips. With tuna fishing being on the slow side we decided to take our groups out west and put the anchor down.  The grade of fish was beyond impressive.
We go Thursday night for a 2.5 day trip.

We saw plenty of fish but getting a bite was not in the cards for the majority of the fleet. 13 passengers  1 yellowfin tuna. We go tonight for a 2 day. Wish us luck!
