We left Saturday on Rogers Phenix Rods open and we spent the first day traveling down and getting rigged up with high hopes. Roger had some great giveaways as usual with rods reels shirts and all sorts of swag. We had a good showing of premium 18-25 pound yellowtail today. Surface iron yo yo jigs and the good ole flyline sardine were the hot ticket. The weather was excellent and it was a great way to start off the trip. We are going to be in tuna mode tomorrow looking for yellowfin. The guys are all rigged up in hopes of wahoo as well. We are excited about what’s hopefully off the bow. Wish us luck.
