Hi Gang,
Yesterday was spent working north and looking for kelps in hopes of locating some dorado. We looked at a strip of warm water in the morning and found a kelp paddy that was holding a nice school of dorado. Every bait was a bite until we had our daily limits of dorado. Watching 4 to 5 fish charge every bait all lit up neon blue and green was an awesome sight to see. Most of our fish were in the 8 to 12 pound range with a handful of 18 to 20 pounders. Super fun! Our weather was once again flat calm. Everyone had a blast. Our chef Brian Torres impressed the group for dinner with his homemade lasagne. It was "out of bounds". Becky Young's birthday was yesterday and we celebrated with a slice of chocolate cake. Happy Birthday Becky. We are working north this morning and will fish a short morning today before calling it a trip. Thanks for checking in. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
